MISSIONS 2011: Myanmar (Burma)
A Hidden World

Myanmar (Burma) - Isolated and ostracized by the international world for years and now change looks promising.  

This unique country has been hidden to most travelers due to military rule, but now Flying Doctors of America has an invitation and thus, we will bring in a general medical/dental with specialties that were requested by the government:  ie, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Gynecology, Pediatrics, Family, Otorhinolaryngology, Opthamology & Dentistry (though other providers should apply to go).   

We will bring medical/dental care to communities outside of the world famous Bagan.

Donation for the Mission is $2985. The mission begins in Yangon and the donation includes airfares within Myanmar. (Please see the itinerary for all that is covered).
